We analysed the 2 other global concierges with UK head offices to understand how they did it – and learn from their mistakes to create a solution that works. Quintessentially run a franchise model. Anyone with the right money can operate a franchise, and trade under their name in a country. It has proved flawed, with many franchises folding, crippling franchise fees, and an inconsistent service level between offices. Ten Lifestyle has launched its own international offices. Though they have control they don’t have the local knowledge or the drive of a local owner to allow the company to flourish – resulting in them posting worrying loses over £8 million (source companies house filed reports).
And their share prices tumbling by 75% in just 6 months to November 2018. You only have to look at their Russia offices to see this model doesn’t work either.
The Sincura model is one that works – a partnership – where you own 50% of your local office, with Sincura investing the other 50%. We launch an international office in partnership with you – this means we invest as together as a true partnership. We supply our resources, train our staff, meet your clients and help with pitches, and involved you in global deals. By being invested we have your interest at heart and that way we all win together. Your own Sincura email addresses for all you’re staff plus general emails to your office. You will also have generic (or shared) email addresses which include a dedicated members’ line, account, legal, tickets and info. These are used across the Sincura Group with the relevant office managing the requests.

IT and CRM System (Call Request Management System)
Most concierge companies use off-the-shelf Customer Relationship Management system such as Salesforce to manage their client requests. Understanding the intricacies and unique nature of the industry we quickly realised that we would need a bespoke solution. We decided to do things differently and develop our unique systems, systems built for our requirements rather than us working to the systems’ requirements. They took 4 years to develop and constantly evolves to our needs.
Our technology team is headed up by our director, Tony Baxter, who has instilled a strong emphasis on Sincura being a technology-driven organisation. Tony started writing code at the age of 8 on his father’s BBC Micro and after studying computing, maths and finance at University he joined software house Logica as an architect for Fastwire, the world’s fastest Swift messaging system as used by Bank of England and processing 200 financial messages per second / 5million per day.
After setting up his own software consultancy at the age of 22, he won IT contracts with Nomura (strategic data management), UBS (change the bank technology), DrKW (repo desk technology), Finansbanken, Norway (front office technology), RZB (front office technology). He then joined the Credit Suisse Asset management team to implement data and behaviour modelling strategies before finishing his IT career at Lehman Brothers. Since founding the Sincura Group it has always been his vision to bring the same strategies used by the major banks to the concierge industry.

You can also use the travel, restaurants, tickets, events and film newsletters created by our own news team each month to tail them to your audience.
Press and Promotional Service
Our Press publisher allowing you to release articles directly to all the major press publications. it also allows you to reach out to over 25,000 brands and PR agencies for sponsorship and partnerships and updates you on the latest contacts with the press. You can also have use of our global reach with over 40,000 monthly hits on our website and 115,000 subscribers to our newsletters.
Payment and Accounting Systems
Our online registrations system allows you to manage your memberships and payments. It is fully customisable and can be set to take a monthly standing order or one-off payments. It also has a full reporting facility to understand and manage your members and their financial dealings. You can also raise and track invoices and can upon our resources of many contracts, terms and conditions, and partnership agreements. We have a full accounting and legal team to support your company from initial setup to managing disputes.

The SIncura App
The Sincura Concierge app has been in development for 9 months now and will be released in December 2019 – ready for go-live in January 2020. When developing our app we looked at our competitor apps and ran months of analysis and tests through them. We don’t believe they work correctly or efficiently. For example, we enlisted the help of 5 premium banking clients who all had vastly different profiles – from their wealth to their likes, to their age, to their localities. The app should have known this and presented answers, offers and promotions tuned to them. But it didn’t. Our app is different, it comes with in-built reporting, behaviour monitors, and watches the clients using the app to understand what they are reading, what they are engaging with, and build us a profile from their eyes.
With the initial development cost at over £100k, it will be the most advanced app anywhere on the market. And all concierge offices will have a version of their app, local to their market, for use for their clients.

• Members. Though we will support you, you will be expected to generate business – through private and corporate members. This will either involve connections you already have in place or hiring sales and marketing teams. Our membership team will provide full training on how to pitch our services to members and close deals.
• Local partnerships. Though we hold many global partnerships, for your local market you will be expected to have a good black book. Our partnership team will provide full training on how to pitch to partners.
• Ability to grow. Most of our partnerships start with just one or two staff working remotely but quickly grow to offices with 20+ staff in as your business grows. You will need to able to cope with the growth.
• Financial stability. The license cost to start a partnership programme with us is typically around £25k – with Sincura investing the same amount. You will need to show us that you are financially stable and have the ability and resources to run the company. On average it takes 6 months for the company to become profitable.
• The right drive and attitude. The success of the partnership is largely down to you and we like to meet and understand all of our partners before we enter into relationships with you.
